Monday

Well, the weekend went by quickly. Funny how that always seems to happen?

We spent Saturday enjoying the rain, inside the house. We had NOTHING planned. A small miracle in and of itself these days!
We watched movies, baked cookies, played games and took naps. Wonderful.

On Sunday, we went to church. Paige and Sarah went over to a friend's house after service. Emily, Grace and I went to the store for some groceries while Jeff and the boys stayed home (and napped).
In the evening, I had a meeting at church for the children's program. We are deciding between
Pioneer Clubs - a Christ-centered kids club program and FaithWeaver Friends - Midweek Kids Club Where Kids Grow. We hope to make a final decision by the end of this week. If you have personal experience with either program, let me know. I'd love your opinions.

The boys had a check up last Friday. All is well. Jacob weighs 32 pounds. Caleb is right behind him at 31-1/2 pounds. Hard to believe these little guys were once itty bitty 4 pounders!
We did find out that Caleb will need hernia repair. We had hoped it would self-correct, but that hasn't happened. This has been an issue for him since birth.
It isn't bothering him right now, it is just cosmetic at this point. However, if we wait -- it could start to cause pain. We are going to schedule the surgery for after the holidays.
I know it is a "minor" procedure, but you know how us mom's are --- I worry.
Pray over him, please.

Jeff has a big inspection coming up this Friday with the lab. He is putting in a lot of hours. Join me in praying for his contentment. He works so hard.

Stay in touch. I love hearing from all of you.

Kim
