Spring ahead - times are a changin'

Just about everyone knows about time changes. It happens once in the fall and again in the spring. People groan a bit, fiddle with all the clocks and get on with life.

Enter Indiana folks. We've never had to change times before. Why change? The cows like their current schedule just fine, thankyouverymuch!

This year, after immense pressure from the government and commerce - we are joining the time change train.

The media started to remind us about 3 weeks ago. Every paper had a story about time changes. The news would have a countdown - "Only 9 days until time change time" - hoping people would get used to the idea.

Since we are transplants to this fine state, we aren't confused. We are however, amused. You would not believe the drama some folks are drumming up over this issue. Change is hard.

I wonder how many people will be late for church tomorrow?
