Holy Week

What a blessed week we have before us as Christians. Praise God.

Yesterday was Palm Sunday which is the celebration of Jesus' return to Jerusalem. It begins Holy Week, leading us to Easter.

We will have regular midweek service on Wednesday which includes worship, children's ministry, and adult Bible study. The children will be going over the story of Easter. They know this story by heart (praises) but each year we go over it with great love and thankfulness.

Worship, a shared meal, and foot-washing will take place on Maundy Thursday.
Maundy Thursday is a time to commemorate Jesus' Last Supper, where Jesus gave His disciples the greatest commandment of all, "To love one another as I have loved you."

There will be a mid-afternoon gathering for Good Friday - a time to reflect on the crucification and death of Jesus.

Sunday will be a joyous service for Easter. Worship, dance, prayer, communion, and fellowship will celebrate the Living Christ. Hallelujah!

I pray your week is filled with love and peace.

Hi Kim!
This week sneaked up on me so fast this year I am out of sorts. I love this time of celebration. I hope your week is peaceful and reflective.

Tamara

PS: I have only been to one foot-washing service. I was in an emotional heap the entire time. It's so humbling.
